Circles of Life - Back to Incredible India

Four months full of life, work, traveling, fun, learning, craziness, beautiful things, new impressions, frustrating moments, thinking about the goals in life, expanding my horizons, enjoying old and new friendships, questioning my current life, leaving for new shores - and no time for writing. Rich and enriching months with numerous highlights like spending weekends in Barcelona, resuming training for a half marathon, traveling to Uruguay and Argentina for New Year's... and now a radical move eastwards for a project in India!

After finishing my previous assignment in Belgium and Holland I decided to escape European winter and ended up getting staffed on a project in Mumbai - the circles of life working their magic again! Not even half a year after my last trip I am back, and this time it will probably be for a while. Already spent three weeks on the subcontinent and every day has been full of surprises. Nothing is what it appears to be, green can be yellow can be red, we have meetings that get canceled and that we then end up having or not having, a yes turns into a no into a maybe into a let's see... And the most curious anecdotes start to become just plain normal.

One of the big upsides of being here (apart from being warm, waking up to sunshine every day and experiencing aspects of an exciting country in full growth, with all its peculiarities and problems) is that I also get to catch up with my Indian friends and spend some time with them on the weekends! Two weeks ago I spent an amazing Sunday with Shweta and will see her again for dinner tonight. Magical circles of life - keep coming back, you are doing a good job.
