Just finished reading the latest articles on the Financial Times website in order to be somewhat prepared for tomorrow morning when our Capital Markets professor will begin his lecture with a cheery "So how are the maaarkets doing today..." - usually the signal to a condensed military-style interrogation round in class. In this context I just remembered two jokes I heard at the beginning of the week, admittedly not very sensitive. Anyway, can't help but share:
Q: What's the definition of optimism?
A: An investment banker who irons five shirts on a Sunday evening.
Q: What is the difference between an investment banker and a large pizza?
A: The pizza can still feed a family of four.
Apologies to my friends in Investment Banking - hope your week is going well.
